What is reseller hosting?
Reseller hosting lets you rent a large block of server space and divide it into separate hosting accounts that you sell to your own clients, under your own brand. It is popular with web designers, developers and agencies.
How do resellers make money?
You pay the provider a fixed monthly fee and charge your clients for the hosting accounts you create. The difference is your margin. Many resellers also earn from setup, maintenance and support services.
What is WHM?
WHM (WebHost Manager) is the admin tool used with cPanel reseller plans. From WHM you create client accounts, set resource packages, and manage nameservers. Each client then gets their own cPanel to manage their site.
What does white-label mean?
White-label means the hosting appears under your brand. Clients see your name and nameservers instead of the provider's, so you can build your own hosting business without running servers yourself.
What should I check before choosing a reseller plan?
Compare the number of accounts, disk space and bandwidth, backup options, support quality, and whether a billing tool such as WHMCS is included. Also check how easily you can upgrade as your client list grows.
